Module 2: Negotiation Dynamics – Discussion BoardModule 2: Negotiation Dynamics – Discussion Board

Describe a personal conflict that you’ve had in the past (with a loved one, significant other, etc.). In what way did emotion and bias impact the dynamics of the conflict and resolution? What kind of nonverbal communication was present (body language, eye contact, etc.)? Was there a lot of active listening? Or mostly just “waiting to talk”? What approach (avoid, compete, accommodate, collaborate) did you take to the conflict? What approach did the other person take? How did the conflict end (what was the aftermath)?
