Self-Assessment Portfolio:Self-assessment is a very important step in the process of professional development. Therefore, you should spend some time completing the assigned self-assessments each week (You need to choose at least 13 of the 16 self-assessments to do).***Self-Assessments will be accessed online by going to our Blackboard site, then choosing Content Materials menu, go to Self-Assessment folder, and then click on the self-assessment link you wish to complete.**Please note: these will show up in the grade book (it’s the only way to assign them), but they are worth zero points – you get your points by submitting the portfolio at the end of the semester. At the end of the semester, you should turn in a portfolio that includes all of your results from the assessments (this means that when you take them, you’ll need to record them). For each self-assessment you should write approximately two to three paragraphs about what you learned, how you can improve, and what the self- assessment results mean for you in your current or future career. After you have completed all or most of the self-assessments, you should write up a conclusion about your skills and personality (what have you learned, what are our strengths/weaknesses, what can you do to improve, what is the importance of having these skills within the context of management, and anything else you feel is interesting to you on this topic). This write up should be approximately five pages in length (but that is neither a minimum nor a maximum). You may want to seek outside resources (like what types of personalities or skills are needed for your career) for your conclusions or your write-ups. This is not required, but is recommended
